Does Google's AI quote your website?

Google now puts an AI-written answer above the search results, and that answer quotes only a handful of websites as its sources. This free check asks Google's AI up to 3 searches your customers make and shows whether it quotes you, and which sites it quotes instead.

Questions people ask about AI visibility

What the check does, what it cannot tell you, and what to do with the answer.

What does this check actually do?

You give it your domain and up to three questions your buyers ask. It puts those questions to Google's AI with live search grounding, then reads the sources the answer was built from. You see whether your site was quoted, and which sites were quoted instead.

Is it really free?

Yes, and there is no signup. Each visitor gets three checks an hour, and the tool has a daily limit, because every question costs us a paid AI call.

Why isn't my site quoted?

AI answers tend to quote pages that answer the question directly, are easy to parse (a clear definition near the top, question-shaped headings, FAQ markup), and sit on a domain already trusted for the topic. If a competitor is quoted instead, open their page and compare those three things before anything else.

Does being quoted actually bring visitors?

Sometimes. AI answers often satisfy the question without a click, so treat a citation as brand presence rather than guaranteed traffic. The gap that matters is between being the source of the answer and being absent from it.

Which questions should I test?

The ones a buyer types before they have chosen anything: “best tool for X”, “how do I do X”, “X vs Y”. Testing your own brand name tells you little, because the AI will usually find you.

How often is it worth checking?

Monthly is plenty. AI answers shift as the pages behind them change, so a check after you publish or rewrite something important is the one that teaches you most.
